Description
Library technologies evolve at a rapid rate, and require continual assessment and adaptation of services. Yet, technical services librarians meet these challenges and develop innovative ways to recreate services for the information needs of library users. The 2015 Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians (OVGTSL) conference will explore how technical services librarians are using emerging technologies to reinvent services at the library.

Organized by
Founded in 1924, the Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians draws its membership from librarians in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. The purpose of the organization is to provide an opportunity to gather together for the interchange of ideas and the discussion of problems; to form a united group whose aims shall be to keep in touch with movements in the field of resources and technical services; and to cooperate with and offer suggestions to the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) of the American Library Association and/or the appropriate sections of this Division.
OVGTSL's annual conference, usually held in late spring, rotates among these three states on a regular basis. Membership is open to anyone interested in library technical services.
